United PRAYER

Most of us would admit that before coming to Jesus, we had someone in our life praying for our salvation. Remembering those moments gives us courage and strength to persevere. Why? We know prayer changes things!

The Bible does not encourage long, pious, or public prayers. Instead, the effectiveness of our prayers is emphasized. An effective prayer involves praying with clean hands and a pure heart (Psalm 24:3–4). Essentially, our prayer life will be a reflection of our personal relationship with God.

United, prevailing prayer and a focus on the indicators of awakening will bring transformation.

Prayer Guides

7 Mountains

If God’s children are going to impact any nation for Jesus Christ, then they will have to affect the seven spheres or mountains that are the pillars of any society.

14 Ways to Develop

Sometimes we don’t pray because we don’t want to be disappointed. But as you pursue God, you will discover the more intimate and vulnerable you’re willing to be in prayer, the more God can do in your heart.

Monthly One Cry

This month’s prayer guide from OneCry focuses on God’s attributes–gracious and merciful, slow to anger, abounding in steadfast love, good to all, forgiving iniquity, and who by no means clears the guilty.

Praying with Jesus

Jesus is praying, but are we praying with Him?

Scripture tells us that Jesus lives to make intercession; He lives to pray! If you listen closely, you’ll hear what He is praying for: the burdens of your heart, the needs of your life—the Savior is praying for you.

Praying with Jesus includes articles from some of the most notable authors of our day: Sammy Rodriguez, Priscilla Shirer, Ronnie Floyd, Dave Butts, Stormie Omartian, Jack Hayford, Josh McDowell, Mark Batterson, Jeff Bogue, Doug Stringer, George Wood, Harry Jackson, Mark Williams, Steve Gaines, Jared Pingleton, Jedd Medefind, Michael Lewis, Mark Dance, Joe Battaglia, Steve Hawthorne, Jeremy Story, and Alton Garrison

Every revival and spiritual awakening in church history began in the womb of intercession. The New Testament church was not birthed in a preaching session but in a prayer meeting. Jesus modeled prayer and taught us to pray.

He said, “My house shall be called a house of prayer.”
